Sheet Pan Nachos

If you need an easy, crowd-pleasing meal, this is one I always come back to.

It’s simple, customizable, and perfect for a casual night in or hosting friends. Everything goes on one pan, and you can top it exactly how you like.

Ingredients

For the nachos:

  • Tortilla chips

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 packet taco seasoning

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • Refried beans or black beans (optional)

  • Shredded cheese or cheese sauce

Toppings:

  • Lettuce, shredded

  • Tomatoes, diced

  • Black olives

  • Black beans

  • Guacamole

  • Sour cream

  • Salsa

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a sheet pan with foil for easy cleanup.

  2. Crisp the chips

Spread tortilla chips in an even layer and bake for 3–5 minutes to lightly crisp.

  3. Cook the beef

In a skillet, sauté diced onion until soft.

Add ground beef and cook until browned.

    Stir in taco seasoning.

(Optional: mix in refried beans, or save black beans for topping later.)

  4. Assemble the nachos

Remove chips from the oven and evenly spread the beef mixture over the top.

Add shredded cheese or drizzle with cheese sauce.

  5. Bake

Return to the oven for 5–7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

  6. Add toppings

Top with lettuce, tomatoes, olives, beans, guacamole, sour cream, and salsa.

  7. Serve immediately

Best enjoyed right away while everything is warm and crisp.
